We are proud to announce that the Laboratory Dancers will be premiering two new works by Artistic Directors Emily Lukasewski and Alexandra Subak at our next show, titled Blindsightedblindsidedblindsitedblindcited. Lukasewski’s piece, entitled “Omgroflttyl,” examines the advertising industry’s use of meaningless and often contradictory language. The piece also addresses the industry’s penetration and saturation into the public’s conscious and subconscious minds. Subak’s “alloveragainalloveragainallover” deals with the dichotomy between the pursuit of societal and interpersonal success and the inevitable exhaustion that accompanies said pursuits. The show will take place at the Hamlin Park Field House (3035 N Hoyne) on February 11 & 12 at 7:30 pm.
